This group of volunteers formed for the purpose of developing an off-leash play area for dogs and their owners in partnership with the City of Danville, Illinois. A Memorandum of Agreement was entered into by and between the City of Danville and the Fetch Dog Park Advisory Group (the Group) in May 2009. All regular members are automatically members of the Fetch Dog Park Advisory Group. (The Group, FETCH Dog Park Group)
Following the development and construction phases The Group will remain active, cooperating with the City in all phases for the management of a successful park. The Group will have a Leadership Team of interested and participating members that will serve as an executive committee to deal with maintenance, fund raising, tag sales, rules and rule violation issues. The officers will be a chairman and Secretary/Treasurer. They will call at least two meetings/year. Meeting dates Spring- May (annual) and Fall-October. The May 13, 2014 minutes established this order. Replacement of members on the Leadership Team for resignation or lack of interest will be by application and positive references.
